Members of the Vintage Aircraft Club will once again descend on Breighton Airfield with their wonderful array of vintage and classic aircraft. The scheduled date for this event is June 6th with Sunday 7th reserved as a fallback in the event of poor weather. Organised independently by the Vintage Aircraft Club, an organisation which was originally formed in 1964 as the Vintage Aircraft Group. The aim of the club is to provide a focal body for owners, pilots and enthusiasts of vintage and classic light aircraft by arranging fly-ins and other events for the benefit of its members. This event often attracts a number of rare and unusual classic aircraft with past highlights being a Travel Air 4000, De Havilland DH-83, Klemm L.25-Ia (circa 1929) and De Havilland DH-90A – not to mention our own impressive fleet.

A number of events are held at Breighton Airfield throughout the year, ranging from themed aircraft fly-ins to historic bicycle demonstrations, classic car meets and craft events. Many of these are organised for and/or on behalf of the Real Aeroplane Charitable Organisation but a number are staged by organisations choosing Breighton as the venue for their own.
